The House is ideally situated on the main road approximately half way between the villages of Portaferry and Kircubbin. There are outstanding views of Strangford Lough and the “Dorn” Nature Reserve, the entrance gate to the Reserve is just opposite the House.
The Lough and surrounding area are classified as an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are many activities available in the area, in addition to all the marine activities in the Lough, including horse riding, fresh water fishing, golf and many others. Nearby are many sites of great interest including Mount Stewart, Castle Ward, Greyabbey and many others.
Breakfast is served from 8.00 am until 9.30 am. Local produce and local suppliers are used for a traditional Ulster breakfast.
